Gothic Drill is a fusion genre derived from chicago style or drill music & gothic metal.

Unlike vapordrill, which some people may get mixed up about the genres, Gothic Drill is more gloomy, heavier, & has a darker atmosphere than vapordrill. But, songs can both be Gothic Drill & Vapordrill.

Vapordrill is a fusion genre of Vaportrap & drill music that emerged in early 2017.

The genre is a important feature of midwestern rap-like music, & is defined by its heavier amounts of bass, darker, grim, metal influenced beats & drill influenced lyrics.
