Toxic

A toxic person is a person who’s communication is counterproductive for the room they’re in; whether it’s a text with you, a call with you, a conference, a meeting, or a walk by. Toxicity sucks all the oxygen out of the room, and no business plan can prosper without some oxygen. They just say things wrong out loud with a poor tone choice, chose the wrong words, or talk about things at the wrong time. Remember not to judge their communication before you know them, so you don’t feel embarrassed when you find out better, or worse ashamed if see them in person. Also, maybe they have trush, and need some ozone or probiotics; who gets paid to care? Either way, just give them space; because regardless, they are a waste of oxygen in this state. Ask yourself too: is it just you? Maybe they have been pissed at you for a while? Did you do your job? Maybe they are just venomous instead. Toxicity isn’t controlled, it’s just constant and wanton. Venom is on purpose, malicious, like a scorpion stinger. Poison is on defense, maleficent, like a plant or a frog saying don’t touch me today.

A toxic relationship goes a bit deeper: it’s an addictive relationship, and as we know about addiction, it’s something that the person wants to leave but always pivots back regardless of their own wishes. The addict always looks stupid from the outside, and the toxic person always looks like an idiot from the outside; to everyone.

The opposite of toxic is: harmonious.

“They are so toxic, all they do is call me disrespectfully, almost like I was their enemy before the day was born. Who wakes up like that: a toxic person.”

“Jennifer Lopez has been toxic to all her peers; recently to the NFL, and Shakira. Jennifer Lopez is so toxic, that she is having an identity crisis; it is what it is.”
