Bag

Derogatory Term

A shortned term used in stead of the term "douchebag" when used as an insult. Although the exact origin is unknown it was first popularized in central New Jersey around the year 2004. The term spread throughout New York and New England. The term became popular because of its ease of usage. The term could flow more easily and allow faster and in some cases more vicious insults. In addition, before the popularization of "bag" students using it to insult other students in school could avoid punishment as the term does not seem profane.

Variations of "bag" include:

Bagging it up

being a bag

Bagger

pulling a bagger

Bag-ette

baggy

Bag Lady

Douchebag

baggish

being from bag-land

speaking baglish (usually used after freudian slips or incoherent mumbling) also the national language of bagland
