Gallbladder (n.) the small sac-shaped organ beneath the liver, in which bile is stored after secretion by the liver and before release into the intestine. The Gallbladder is one of two organs the human body can survive without, and as such, many doctors refer to it as the âHowlieâ of the organ system, as it is effectively worthless.
John was the heart and soul of the basketball team, and Howlie was the gallbladder.
