(Jamaican Patois, MLE, n.) A word to refer to one's friends. Also can refer to relatives in some cases. Comes from the English word "brethren", a word for one's relatives.
"wagwan mi bredrin wuh ya seh"
"don't fuck with man's bredrin or you'll catch this dotty still"
(UK, MLE, n.) A badmon/badman is what a roadman would refer to himself in London. The word itself comes from Jamaican Patois. People involved on road never say they're a roadman, because nobody actually says that since it sounds off-putting. One calling himself a badmon/badman is essentially saying (or claiming) that he's involved, however in some cases that person is desperate for clout.
Tion Wayne is a badmon
"badmon don't eat pork, get man suttin else fuck is wrong with u g are you tapped"

(Serbo-Croatian, n.) This is an extremely offensive word towards Muslims that are native to the Balkans, in a rough translation it means "turkified" or to "turn into a little turk".
Primarily used by Serbs and to a lesser extent Croats, this word has historical connotations to the Ottoman campaign in the Balkans where they held the region for roughly 500-600 years. During this time, many have converted to Islam and have been given prominence in Ottoman society and well-paying job opportunities, hence to "turn into little turks". To the Christians of the region, they see this as "betraying their forefathers who have rejected Christ and converted to Islam becauss they wouldve been killed for not doing so", even though there are various for the highly reported coversions in the region such as being persecuted by Serbs/Croats/other Christian-dominated groups, or merely due to land ownership opportunities.
Normally, this word could be used against Bosnians, Albanians, and Torbeš Macedonians.
The plural for this word is "poturice", a group of Muslims.
#1: "taj glupi budalo skroz tamo je poturica, vidiš ga kako izlazi iz džamije?"
#2: "ne, nisam ga vidio"
(Turkish or Persian, n.) The Balkans is geopolitical region that is within southeastern Europe. Within the region's several countries, there is a total of 55,000,000 people (if we are counting the Greek Islands), or 32,000,000 people within the region's peninsula.
The term "balkans" originally came from the Persian "balk", which means mud, and the Turkish suffix "kan" which is a swampy forest. However, in modern Turkish, the word "balkan" means "a chain of wooded mountains".
A home to a wide variety of cultures, countries, and consistently useless and pointless wars, the region is well known for its exportation of competent individuals with slightly nationalistic tendencies, exceptionally strong liquor, (apparently) good wine, very tasty but fat-inducing cuisinery, gästarbeiters for Western countries, and the term known as "balkanization", which is a pejorative term for the fragmentation of a larger region or state into smaller regions or states that are often hostile or uncooperative with each other because of pointless differences.
The region contains the Adriatic, Ionian, Aegean, and Mediterranean seas, the Dinaric and Albanian Alps, and certain places that are either popular with tourists or underrated. The highest peak in the Balkans is Mt. Musala, and the Balkans is home to various amounts of flora and fauna.
yeah, no matter how much i don't want to admit it because it's a piece of shit, i'm from the balkans

(UK, MLE, verb) To "ching" someone is to violently stab someone with something.
"Ching man down, 'till he can't get up"
(Serbo-Croatian, n.) - Originally coming from a word Germans from the Swabian province of Germany that have settled along the Danube and Sava rivers in the Balkans up until their mass exodus during the early days of SFR Yugoslavia, this word has since carried onto those of Balkan origin that live in German-speaking countries, that being Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. It carries a pejorative meaning towards those growing up in those countries to be those who are "spoiled" or have "sold their soul for money", seeing as if they only have a semblance for comparing their living conditions to those of their countries of origin.
