As a somewhat light-hearted mockery of the /thread meme, '/post' became a humorous alternative on popular internet forums and bulletin boards. It has become known to insight rage in some who believe that it is a forced meme, yet we know that this is not true and it is assumed that their rage towards the '/post' meme only strengthens its meme status.
It was declared a meme as of July 16th, 2009.
