Racial purgatory

When someone moves from one culture to another. After a certain amount of time they are still not accepted in their in new culture and when they go back home they are not accepted there either

After 20 years of living in the U.S.A I feel like I’m in racial purgatory because to Americans I’m Mexican and in Mexico I’m American.
