An exclamation often used when someone is so surprised at one's deformity, that he or she must bring it to another person's attention.

I was so surprised at his bulbous looking tadpole thumbs that I just had to say "lookatem" to let everyone know that they got to see this.

A situation in which no one wants to be in, a drag.

Friend: My boss made me sweep and mop the entire building twice!

You: That's thumbed out.
