Scottish phrase, primarily used in Edinburgh and other eastern regions of the country. Verb: to 'chuck' or throw your chances away.

person 1: so how'd the exam go?

person 2: not well considering i was out until 7am last night and my exam was at 9am.

person 1: aww mate you've pure chucked it.

person 2: i ken pal, no way am i passing this one.
