When a person has a romantic interest in you, or cares for you, and you make that person give you money and/or gifts in order to prove themselves to you. You have Billed that person. You are engaging in the act of Billing. Sometimes a person that is billing you will tell you of a dilemma or unfortunate situation, and then proceed to ask for a âFavorâ or ask for âHelpâ.
Most people wonât say: âhey, prove to me that you care for me and give me money to solve my problemâ. Rather, it is implied when the favor is asked for, and we subconsciously get the message. If you truly like and care for a person, you will feel an urge to comply even though you might know that their story is bogus.
I wouldnât mind calling my old high school buddy to check on him more often because I truly care. However, I donât feel like getting billed. I have my own problems!
I think she really likes me a lot. I am going to Bill her!
The act of sharing an unfortunate situation prior to asking for help.
She told me her dad was in the hospital for surgery and that she had no money, and then proceeded to bill me.
