Kirstjen

Named after Kirstjen Nielsen, Trump-era Secretary of DHS who famously tried to rehabilitate her public image following committing atrocities at the US/Mexico border (see: caged detainment of children in squalid concentration camps).

To Kirstjen is the actions by which a person, who engaged in/was willfully complicit in/ordered hurtful and unconscionable actions, attempts to return to the very society they violated. Usually done through minimizing, or misrepresenting, the horrible actions for which they were exiled.

“Uncle Rodger got drunk and drove his car into the dining room last thanksgiving, now he’s trying to Kirstjen his way back into our Christmas diner like we all didn’t remember what he did.”

To NEILSEN is attempt by a person, who was willfully complicit/ordered unthinkable, inhumane actions, returning to the very society they violated. Usually done through minimizing, or misrepresenting, the horrible actions for which they were exiled.

Toddhop

To Toddhop is the process of briefly attending multiple events for purposes of image and public perception, without any genuine desire to participate in the event or whatever cause the event supports. Named after the Washington, DC politician Brandon Todd, who famously attends multiple public events for five minutes or less, simply to be seen, with no intention of providing meaningful support once elected.
