The sequel to Bungieâs looter-shooter Destiny, which Bungie went on to create after leaving Halo. It is currently free-to-play, but with a majority of content locked behind DLC packs. It was released at full price in 2017, with expansions releasing throughout its lifespan. Several destinations and activities have been added and removed since launch, to the irritation of some players.
Gamer A: âYou tried Destiny 2 yet? It can be a little grindy, but the gunplay is some of the best Iâve ever seen!â
Gamer B: âIf you play that game you have no life.â
Gamer A: âIf thatâs the case, it wonât affect you, so try it!â
A 2-dimensional fighting game series by Nintendo, featuring iconic members of the Nintendo cast (i.e. Mario, Link, etc.) as well as guest characters from other franchises (i.e. Solid Snake, Persona 5âs Joker, Cloud Strife, etc.).
All Smash Bros games follow the same basic formula: Victory is achieved by launching the opponent out of the arena. Attack your opponent to damage them, which makes them easier to launch. Often, the game is played with 2-3 lives, although there is an option with infinite lives and a time limit, and even a âhealth pointsâ mode (Stamina Battle).
Dude A: âWanna smash?â
Dude B: âBroâ¦â
A few minutes later:
*both dudes frantically button-mashing Switch controllers on Super Smash Bros.*
A satirical âsexualityâ designed as a counter to being called transphobic for not dating trans people, which unfortunately was taken too seriously and evolved into a thin guise for actual transphobia. Exercise caution when using this word, as it may elicit threats of violence and/or death.
âIâm superstraight bro I only like REAL womenâ
âyeah ok dumbass, you donât need a whole sexuality just to be transphobicâ
Or:
âIâm superstraight because I am not attracted to women with a penis or artificial vagina.â
âOK, I guess? Isnât that just a preference and not a sexuality?â
âshit, you rightâ
A superhero/school manga with an anime adaptation. Itâs not bad at all as long as the crybaby protagonist isnât too off-putting to you. If you like this manga/show, I do not recommend getting involved with the notably toxic fandom, which has a tendency to send death threats to those who disagree with their preferred ships. Even the mangaâs author has been targeted for this by the crazier fans.
âHave you watched My Hero Academia?â
âYeah, itâs pretty good, but I made the mistake of looking it up on Twitter. Never againâ¦â
