SOTE is an acronym for Scum of the Earth. Similar to a being a piece of shit in a more abstract manner

Can be used as a verb or adjective

(When someone sucks as a person)
John - have you met the new kid? He kind of sucks
Richie- yeah, I talked to him, he is sote

(When someone’s acting like an asshole)
Kyle - you’re being so sore right now
Matt - I’m being sote? You’re the one who turned off the Xbox cause you lost a video game
