roast

1. Meaning “to ridicule”… the word was popular among middle schoolers circa 2007 and is still nauseatingly overused by childish high schoolers today.

2. A word used when not quick enough to come up with an actual insult.

1. “Look at those ugly shoes! I’m ‘bout to roast him.”

2. Cordia: You better watch it or I’ll roast you.

Jalin: Go ahead, roast me.

Cordia: (to friends) Aww hell naw, he’s about to get roasted!

Jalin: Waiting...

Cordia: Alright, ima roast you now...
