Gamespot

If you could take any maturity and/or dignity GameFAQs has, and completely replace it with childish, biased, console flaming douchebags that are somehow too stupid and childish to be members of GameFAQs, which is the third-most stupid website online, (second only to Gamespot which, is second only to Moviecodec.com).
You'd have Gamespot, the stupidest PURE-gaming website you'll ever need, if you ever need a stupid gaming website.

Members spend a great deal of time insulting people for having objective opinions, and liking another console. For Hell's sake, there's a 'Console War' section which, despite the large warnings, are really just asking for flame wars. The members can hardly be expected to maintain control, when talking about unrelated stuff.
When given a forum designed just for "warring" over consoles pops up, you're an idiot to believe, that these morons have the self control to behave.

Another great thing about the members is, they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to bash GameFAQS. Which, is hilarious, because GF members spend a ton of time doing exactly the same about GS. I can't tell the difference.

The moderators?...whoo hoo! they're bad.
I don't know if CNET just raises these jackholes in some monstrous egg sack fertilized by unprofessional-ism and remedial forum moderation, but man they might be the worst in history.

These people are just like members, complete with the mandatory lack of objectivity, the favoritism toward specific members and all the lame-ass shit, better boards' staff avoid.

STAY AWAY. If you've found that, you've been exposed to Gamespot, immediately flush your eyes with water several times, induce vomiting, lie down...and then shoot yourself in the head. At least then, your last moments will more enjoyable then the time spent on that shitty site.

Gamespot made me want to go to GameFAQs and I believe, at that very moment, all the little children in Hell got out of school for a fun filled, snow day.

Gamespot is called "Gamespot" because it resembles a stain on the internet.

Fanboy

An extreme fan or follower of a particular medium or concept, whether it be sports, television, film directors, video games (the most common usage), etc.

Known for a complete lack of objectivity in relation to their preferred focus. Usually argue with circular logic that they refuse to acknowledge. Arguments or debates with such are usually futile. Every flaw is spun into semi-virtues and everything else, blown to comedic, complimentary proportions.

Known for using the phrase
"Object of affection = Best Ever"
However, while people only really say that as hyperbole, fanboys truly believe it.

Troll the internet to spread the gospel.

Insult/chastise others for using public forums to express an objective opinion, no matter how constructive or, respectful it may be. (Go ahead and admit that it's a good game/movie/etc. This fact and anything else will be promptly ignored in favor of cherry picking the negative, and beating you over the head with it.

Tend to resort to petty annoyance replies when backed against the wall. Usually grammar attacks and non-replies.

"Final Fantasy VII is the best RPG ever!"
"Ocarina of Time is the best game ever!"
"Linux is the best OS ever!"
"Xbox is the best console ever!"
"Dragonball Z is the best show ever!"

The sad thing is, fanboys don't realize, that these companies that fuel their passion, don't really give a damn about us. To me, defending a multi-national corporation like their your own family, is ridiculous. These organizations don't come to your house and help you when you're sick, they don't help you move, or drive you to the airport. They don't support you in any way. It's a business, not a friendship. As soon as you can no longer buy their product, you disappear to them.

Dattebayo

A group of people who fansub anime.

Known for two things:

1. Loving Naruto (which is the new Dragonball Z for idiots who love shitty action shows).

2. Being gigantic, unfunny pricks.

You think that powerfully built He-men who devote huge time to telling Americans what cartoon characters are saying, would have the social graces of a Victorian era countess and the speed and grace of a winged jungle cat but, it turns out these guys are a healthy mix of scrawny pigeon chested dweebs and, Crisco coated lumps of fat and beard.

They also like to "troll" by wasting everyone's' time with gag subs and limp wristed, obvious fake news. Apparently when you translate crappy cartoons from your mother's basement, it affords you a bit of free time to display your lack of any real humor.

They are also ballsy enough to write YHBT at the bottom, so as to identify their laddish crap before you even fall for it.

They enjoy posting the constantly -banned for sake of enjoyment- I.P.s on their website because that makes them edgy and hardcore. They're also hoping people who made them cry will be "teh haxxored".

Even though the hacking skills of the 13-17 year old narutard fanbase they've managed to sop up are all 150lvl Blackhats, with +5 to all hacking skill checks and saving throws,

The results have been disappointing to say the least.

Dattebayo! is Japanese for "Vagina Get No!"

Terribad

Combination of "Terrible" and "Bad".

Adopted by and, thoroughly beaten to death, by the shittier World of Warcraft playing community for people that they don't like. Because every society of caustic for the sake of cool, self loathing nerds needs to have their own memes and slang to fit in, WoW has this weak shit.

People who realize that "thinking" isn't their particular strength and figure that, being witless, meme sheepish tools, an Armory check and some lame ass slang should be a good enough replacement for tact, knowledge, facts or well thought out arguments.

Terribad, bads, scrubs, Futurama references are all ingredients in the gigantic shit stew that makes WoW players look like the dumbest, most anti-social losers in Gaming.

Bisexual, Vampire Teen Wizards

AKA, BVTW Syndrome.
The most common example, is My Immortal, which is considered to be the worst fanfiction ever produced and, may have in fact, existed since the dawn of time. Some believe it to be one of Nyarlathotep's 999 forms.
It is also commonplace on free form roleplaying message boards.

The disturbingly common practice of writing Harry Potter-based fanfiction or creating HP-based characters that are, for purposes of the female writer's fantasy, bisexual for other "hawt Hogwarts guys" and, on occasion, situationally "hawt" for the writer's alter ego, female main character.

...Oh and they're also VAMPIRES.

Bad HP slash writers (oxymoron?) LOVE vampires.

People who suffer from BVTW Syndrome:

-Likes-
Vampires
Any combination of: Ron, Harry, Draco and Snape fucking in the Forbidden Forest.
Goth anything
Hot Topic
F-bomb dropping Dumbledore
Gun toting Voldemorts

-Dislikes-
Spelling
Hogwart's boarding school Dress Code.
Vampires that have fangs and burn in sunlight.
Magic classes.
Quidditch
Writing anything with even the remotest of semblance, to the characters and stories that these fanfics are based on.

Bisexual, Vampire Teen Wizards are why a Harry Potter role playing game will most likely never see print.
