lucy

Nickname for the queen of television comedy, Lucille Ball who, along with her husband Desi Arnaz, virtually invented the concept of the sitcom. May also refer to any of Ball's hit TV shows: "I Love Lucy" (1951-60), "The Lucy Show" (1962-68), "Here's Lucy" (1968-74), or possibly her embarrasingly bad attemopt a comback in 1985, "Life With Lucy".

Lucy was always funnier when she was in black and white.

jimmy carter

Thirty-ninth President of the U.S., seving from 1977 - 81, and most likely the last U.S. President with real integrity we will see in our lifetimes. Though he was unable to solve a number of domestic issues, he was a true world leader and put human rights on the map. Brought back dignity, decency and respect to the Oval Office, after the Nixon scandals. Deservedly won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.

History will judge President Jimmy Carter well.
