The belief that you can count on those you care about. Having faith in someone implies that they care enough about you to come through for you when it really matters. Examples include friends, family, comrades, and leaders.
While not theistic in nature, faith has recently been bastardized by organized religions for public matters when the word "religion" might spark negative connotation (now why would that be?) This beautiful concept is being slowly destroyed and its meaning changed by the P.C. world of today.
