An irritatingly over-exuberant or try-hard nerd who gives other nerds a bad name.

I had a great time at the con, except on Sunday when Bill joined us. He wouldn't shut up about his signed Pop collection. He's such a failnerd.

A phonetic rendering of the Cockney or Estuary English pronunciation of the word 'tube'. Esp. when used to mock your English friends and colleagues.
