It's a video game released by Namco in 1983; you see, they make other games besides Pac-Man, Tekken, Time Crisis, and Soul Calibur. It was released by Midway (yes, the same Midway who would go on to do the Mortal Kombat series) in 1983. Basically, you are "Mappy", a police mouse who clears levels by recovering all of the stolen loot, while jumping on trampolines (see, each stage is a "house" with mulitple "floors"), and avoiding "Nyamco" (get it?; anyway, he's called "Goro" in the U.S. version) and his "Mewkies" ("Meowkies"). Unfortunately for you, the only "action" you can do in this game is open and close doors, but wait there's more! Some of these doors release shockwaves that send the enemies far, far away, but they eventually they come back, SO BEWARE!!!
Later there was a sequel called "Hopping Mappy" but it never came to the U.S.. On the other hand, the U.S. did get an NES sequel called "Mappy-Land". Oh yeah, you gotta love the music. It's very "ragtime-y".
Some ignorant "hardcore" gamer: "Mappy? What kind of name is that for a game?"
Me: "Uh, the kind Namco makes?"

I guess nobody ever knew this. A Mary Jane is a type of girl's shoe. It's those shoes that have the single ankle strap, and the rounded toe, and are usually black (but white ones are also common). There are also high heel versions for older women.
So you see, it isn't just Peter Parker's girlfriend, or that...other meaning. Surely some of you girls out there have worn Mary Janes at least once in your life.
Mandy from Billy and Mandy wears black Mary Janes without socks.

Whoever wrote the previous definition needs to get HIS facts straight. Flicky was originally an arcade game that came out back in "nineteen hundred, and eighty-four" (that's "1984") to you. It later got PORTED to the Mega Drive (as the Japanese and Europeans call it). See, Flicky existed WAAAAAY before that blue "Sonic" fellow. You're not "a" flicky, you are THE Flicky; the original eponymous (pronounced eh-PAHN-a-mus) character who has to rescue her chicks (and I mean the actual bird kind!) called Chirps (or "Piopio" for you Japanese folk) from a cat named Nyan-Nyan (that's "Tiger" to you "yanks"), and an iguana named Choro ("Iggy").
You with me so far? Good.
You clear levels by getting all the Chirps to the exit door (kinda like Sonic 3D Blast only...2D). Simple, no? Too bad you gotta worry about the Tiger's and the Iggy's, AND if you take one hit, you're out. Simple, yet complex.
I bet I'm the only one who's ever heard that Flicky was originally an arcade game from the 80's. This game is like, so totally radical to the max! It's teh r0x0rz in my s0x0rz.
