2D & 1/2

When 3 dimensional graphics are created in 2D graphic programs. Usually, CGI and 3D graphics for film, television, and video games are created in programs like Lightwave and Maya, but 2D & 1/2 utilizes computer programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Corel Draw to mimic them. Though graphics created in these programs can only be applied to two dimensional applications like magazines, photographs, or any other item with a flat, static surface because they not to truly contain any virtual depth.

Many of those trendy glass/gloss logos are 2D & 1/2 because they weren't created in 3D graphic programs.
