An evil Japanese cult that was responsible for the 1995 Tokyo subway sarin attack, which leaked Sarin gas on many subway routes, killing 14 and injuring 1000+ others. A large portion of those injured was said to have a permanent degrading of their vision.
What's even more shocking is that there are still people who follow this odious cult. And to think they associate themselves under the wholesome and peaceful religion of Buddhism. Fucking disgusting.....

Fact-checkers are websites (run by an organization) that checks for the validity of rumors and widespread claims of a certain matter. For example, fact-checkers often debunk the claims of certain political moguls. Without fact-checkers, the internet would be a chaotic place of misinformation.
After hearing rumors that INSERT CELEBRITY HERE's death was a suicide, I went to a fact-checker website and found that this was not at all true.

Contrary to what many will think, 9th grade was the start of a brand new school life and identity. It was the grade of redemption, where you can make new and better friends, and where you finally have a chance to make better first impressions. If you were unpopular or were a loner back in middle/elementary school, then this definition applies greatly to you.
Just think about it. Now that you are in a huge school made up of 5 different middle schools (and 10+ different elementary schools), now you have another opportunity to introduce yourself in a different manner than before.
Maybe you were an awkward person, had low self-esteem, or were a 'tag-along', and your past classmates therefore thought lowly of you. This time, you can 'right your wrongs' and become that person you've always aspired to be in front of your new peers.
Of course, there's a good chance you'll meet some old classmates again in your courses, but don't let that stop you. Your new peers are what matters the most.
Remember, how you act in this grade will define you in the coming 4 years, so carefully premeditate your first impressions!
Old high school peer: Remember 9th grade? I hated it.
Me: Are you kidding? 9th grade was the shit! Made so many new friends in that year, and I gave off a more sociable and confident demeanor compared to my awkward middle school years. Sure, it may be harder than 8th grade, but compared to 10, 11, 12 it was a breeze! It really all depends on how you look at it.

A fake smile is the most giga chad move when somebody starts shit up with you for the stupidest reasons
Some short hoe: *in a jeering voice* Hey dumbass, you parked your car in the wrong spot!
Me: *instead of wasting my time explaining why I parked there, I give a fake smile and walk away*
A recent internet fad where people take existing songs, slow them down, and then apply reverb to it. They are often found on YouTube with millions of views. Basically, it is the inverse of the nightcore fad from a decade ago.
The main criticism with these two popular fads is that they take little to no effort to "produce", yet such videos gets a whopping millions of views. Meanwhile, the real talented folks who produce a legitimately amazing remix or cover gets only like 10K views at the very most. It is a gross misrepresentation of talent and, to be honest, quite cringe.
P.S. If one REALLY wants to contribute to this cheap fad, at least try to put in some effort and do it your own via audacity or FL Studio. Don't be lazy and resort to websites doing it for you, have some self-respect ok? I'll stop talking now and let future definitions say the rest.
