Tips are generally based on a percentage of the bill and a reward towards the quality of service. 15 - 20 percent is common for good service. Anything less, generally means poor service.
Occasionally you will see tip jars by cashiers.
Tip also stands for the acronym: To Insure Prompt Service.
Our restaurant server was so great, I gave him a 20 percent tip!

1. When else someone messes up or botches a job and you have to fix it or clean it up yourself.
2. When someone else makes a promise, but fails to follow through and you get blamed and yelled at for it.
3. When you get really bad customer service.
I went through the drive-thru at the fast food joint, but when I got home, half the order was missing! I got fiedored!
A customer got fiedored by one of the employees who worked on their computer and didn't install a part correctly and not only did damage the computer, they lost all their data too!

Why can't you just use a flat head screwdriver to loosen that bolt?
