Lasagna Spiral

A duration of time that occurs in which a completely asinine and useless topic becomes so adversely discussed that the original point becomes moot. Like when a player in a tabletop group does something completely pointless and describes everything about that, the game master leaves the room in frustration

I can't believe we lasagna spiraled for 45 minutes on this one shopping trip.
