"Skoro" is a joke lastname for the Croatian musician-turned-politician Miroslav Å koro. The name became a joke after Miroslav lost 2 elections, first the presidential ones and then for the mayor of the capital city of Croatia, Zagreb.

The joke is based on the language, due to "skoro" meaning "almost" in Croatian, and he was close to winning them both times.
