What the Phil is a term commonly used in the Midwest. Could be said confused, sad, excited, or angry.
Its used mostly by Adults/Teenagers, while children say "What the Phillip!" which means the same thing.
mom: Son.. We're putting you up for adoption.
son: what the Phil!!!!!!
The word you say when you're shocked/confused.
It can be used in any sentence, serious, jokingly, or in just a normal way!
It is commonly used in the USA, mostly the midwest.
It was invented by a farmer in the 1817s! He grew up saying it and it made its way around Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan, and Illinois!
