Eclair

Release 2.1 of Google's Android.

2.0 was also called Eclair, but this release never made it to the market. Bluethooth, digital zoom, Maps, browser and contact lists were among the improvements compared to Donut.

Eclair is Android's biggest success so far (October 2010), Froyo might beat Eclair and is bound to beat iPhone as well.

FAD

Friday Afternoon Drinks.

After WAD the best of all AD's.

Probably the only AD that can be enjoyed on an almost weekly basis.

Biggest downside to FAD: because a lot of people only work parttime on Friday, there's a lot of civil servant or banker wankers in the pub. But on the upside, these people generally need to be home by 5, so when FND starts, they're all gone and you're nicely liquored up.

MAD, TAD and ThAD usually can't hold a candle to FAD.

Donut

Release 1.6 of Google's Android.

The first release that went to market in a substantial manner and made it tough for Apple's iPhone. HTC was one of the first hardware producers to embrace Donut, but many followed. Eclair was released only months after Donut was.
