A fan site and gathering place for sad delusional middle aged women who like to fan-tasize about a once mildy popular singer , Steve Perry. The fansite has the deserved reputation of going belly up on an all too regular basis. In-fighting and jealous rivalries are the norm. Currently closed, again. Steve Perry is, or more accurately was, the frontman for an 80's band called Journey. It is believed that he died around 1995, the last time he was heard from musically. The "faithful" gravitated to a fansite, Perryville aka PV, where they all believed that Steve Perry was going to marry each and every one of them. A delusion made even more amusing by the fact that there were continual rumours as to his confused sexuality. The PV diehard fans are synonymous with stalking their "man", arrested mental developement, a creepy disregard for reality, paranoia, bullying, cowardice, and the irrational belief that Steve Perry is going to release an album of new songs. Hello!!! The gay...oops, I mean guy, died in 1995. The fansite attracted so many wackos and nutjobs that you just have to wonder what it is about Steve Perry that draws them together.
This is Monday...Perryville has closed its doors for ever. Come back on Wednesday, it is sure to be open then. Don't leave it until Friday, it is bound to be closed for ever once again by then.

The name given to diehard fans of one Steve Perry, former frontman of a once mildly popular American rock band way back in the 1980's. These so called fans are normally comprised of morbidly obese fat sad old women and equally chuncky sad beer swilling lonely men. These creepy weirdos are characteristically paranoid and delusional, with an IQ lower than a slugs' johnson. They tend to collect together in groups, in the same way sewage gathers in the bottom of septic tank. One such gathering place is perryville, a chat forum now forced underground due to all the negativity and ill feeling it created. Once a group has formed paranoia compels the stronger members attack and bully the weaker members, or anyone who shows signs of intelligence or compassion. The remaining floaters then turn on each other. The women suffer the delusion that Steve Perry loves them and is going to marry them, the irony being lost on them. And the men are under the amusing delusion that their beer soaked venom passes as intelligence. These people are certifiable, unpleasant and best avoided.
Perryloons refuse to accept that Steve Perry left Journey twenty years ago. They delude themselves into believing that without Steve Perry Journey ceased to exist, this despite Journey continuing to record and release albums. They firmly believe that the other members of Journey plotted to remove him. No. His voice went. Deal with it!
Sometimes the simple answer is the right one, and believe me, these wackos need simple answers.

A truly awful disease in which the suffer is under the sad delusional belief that Steve Perry will actually release another album.
There is currently no known treatment. Sufferers cannot comprehend the truth, preferring to hold on to the delusion at all costs in spite of the insurmountable evidence. These sad people need our sympathy, and a hug.
I believe silly rumors that Steve Perry is recording again. I have perryism. Please hug me!
