(verb): To tell someone a dishonest pleasantry instead of the actual truth. Refers to the blue pill in the movie "The Matrix".

Bluepilling someone can have one of two purposes: 1) an evil purpose, such as lulling them into complacency in order to exploit them more effectively, or 2) a good purpose, such as mercifully shielding them from a horrible truth that they actually are powerless to avoid or prevent, in which case a pleasant delusion is actually the more humane option.

I've had so much awful news that I can't stand anymore. So just bluepill me for awhile, okay?

(verb): To render some or all dimensions of one's private life (or someone else's, oftentimes against their will) transparent for the outside world to observe -- either as a benevolent teaching device or a means of malicious privacy violation. Is frequently inflicted upon, or voluntarily undertaken by, celebrities of many various fields.

I can't believe he's actually going to participate in that trashy reality show -- his career must really be in the slumps. Why else would he fishbowl himself like that?
