1.can be used for no reason when something happens.
2.can be used to blame someone else to get out if something.

Student 1:Did you understand anything the teacher said? I don't like the way he teaches.
Student 2:Starts singing the way then says no I didnt .
Student 3:yeah I didn't either.
Student 4: yeah I actually did.
Teacher:your homework is 1-10.
Student 1: says to student 2 hey foo what's number one?
