Baseline crush

Typically referred to as a default crush. A baseline crush is somebody you like when you are in between crushes or have nobody else to crush on.

Person 1: “Look there’s Josue”
Person 2: “Oh yeah, Josue, he’s my baseline crush”

Incrementing is when you like the idea of having a romantic partner and wanting one, but you don’t like doing any actions that are considered romantic.

I’m inactromantic, I want someone to love, but I don’t want any of the things that come with having a romantic relationship.
