(Colorado dialect)
Yeet originated from the internet dancing in which the person would be dancing and suddenly swing their arms in body in a violent motion, exclaiming the word âyeetâ. This slowly evolved into a word to exclaim when doing something random and/or sudden.
Ex: A boy in highschool was walking down a hallway and suddenly yelled âyeet!â, while he threw a pencil
You can notify someone that you are about to yeet by saying: âYou know I/ya boy about to hit that YEET!â. The word does not mean anything, it is more of an exclimation of what is happening. It works to suprise someone in a humorous way. :
Person 1: âHey dudeâ
Person 2: âWhat?â
Person 1: âYaâ know yaâ boy âbout to hit that-â, person 1 does random act, âYeet!â
