Fauxmute

A fake commute. A faux commute, from the French “faux” meaning “fake or false”.

A portmanteau word, which is French for suitcase, incidentally.

“I fauxmute to the back bedroom via 25mins of yoga on the lawn.”

“I see you are faux commuting every morning. Fauxmuting, if you will!”
“Oh yes I ‘fauxmute’. It’s like I’m commuting. From my home, via the park, to my sodding home.”

“I am fauxmuting on my Brompton for 40 minutes. It transforms my morning energy!”
