Saphira is a dragon in the series of books Eragon. She is large, blue*, and breathes fire. That is what all Dragons do. She is very annoying.

*Is it any coincidnce Saphira sounds like Sapphire, a word commonly used to describe the colour blue? Does this author have no imagination?
