"I saw a picture of you at your old job." "I haven't worked there in years!" "Well your picture still came up when I typed your name into Google." "It must be in Google limbo."

Animal Lobby

A term used to describe a group of individuals who champion the rights of animals over humans. The group tends to be very vocal and supportive of animal rights. Members are often more engaged with their pets than with other people.

The "Animal Lobby" may also be broken down into smaller subgroups as follows:

The "Cat Lobby" - A vast network primarily made up of of single unmarried women who champion cat rights and express more affection toward cats then people. Members of the "cat lobby" have substituted feline companionship for male relationships. Members often collect and feed stray cats. Members of the cat lobby speak with their pets as if they are people.

The "Dog Lobby" - A vast network primarily made up of single unmarried women who champion dog rights and express more affection toward dogs than people. Members of the "dog lobby" have substituted canine companionship for male relationships. Most members tend to be unmarried women age 35 or over. Joining the Dog Lobby usually means that a member has given up on trying to find a spouse.

The "Bird Lobby". A group that champions the rights of birds over people. The "bird lobby" is composed primarily of never- married older women who enjoy feeding pigeons.

Members of the Animal Lobby and the aforementioned subgroups are members of PETA and other animal rights groups.

On proposing rules applicable to animals:

"Watch out what you say or you will get the animal lobby after you!"

"Jill has finally stopped trying to find a husband and has now joined the Animal/Cat/Dog Lobby".

"New FAA regulations to limit bird strikes are being opposed by the bird lobby."
