Skibidi is a word without conventional meaning.

Instead, the word skibidi is used in order to reference skibidi-related memes, in order to relate to other people that have also experienced skibidi-related memes.

History:

January 2022: Skibidi was a word present in the song "Biser King - Dom Dom Yes Yes".

April 2022: Turkish influencer Yasin Cengiz published a funny dancing video that went viral and popularized the song "Biser King - Dom Dom Yes Yes".

February 2023: Youtuber "DaFuq!?Boom!" published a funny and absurd animation video titled "skibidi toilet: the beginning" that went viral and popularized the song "Biser King - Dom Dom Yes Yes".

October 2023: The word skibidi was used in a funny song made by a TikTok user. The song does not have a name, but the song is colloquially known as "The Fanum Tax Song". Ever since the publishing of "The Fanum Tax Song", the word skibidi has seen increased use.

Alex and Tony are classmates, and they've just finished a group assignment. They have a conversation:

Tony replies: You've also seen those memes?
