badge in the post

Used sarcastically, normally as a congratulation for someone achieving something diabolically simple, or for grasping the absolute and complete obvious. It's origins are based on any organisation that, in the absence of better ideas, or prizes of any real value, would give a cheaply manufactured metal badge as a token reward.

Paul A. Sheehan: "Look! I just uploaded a JPEG to your hosting using FTP!"

Ash & Doug : "Well done Paul, Badge in the Post."

blanket welding

Derived from the process of sheet welding (i.e. sticking two sheets together), refers to bed-based masturbatory activities, with the assumed consequence that the 'sheets' (substituted for 'blankets' for increased differentiation from the innocent metal-work activity), will be welded (i.e. stuck together with semen) together.

Ash: "Euurrggh Doug, is that your hand moving up and down under your covers?"

Doug: "No!"

Ash: "Don't lie, you're blanket welding again, aren't you?"

Doug: "Is it okay if I was thinking of you while I was doing it?"

Ash: "You're sooo not waking up tomorrow".

chernobylism

A word first uttered by Mr. Paul 'Pablo' Sheehan. Initially conceived as a mistaken pronunciation of 'cherubism' (a mutagenic disorder causing severe facial deformity of its sufferrers), the word has lived on, and indeed superceeded the correct word.

"Ahhh fuck, we should get back. There's that program about chernobylism on tonight."
