Monk Chamber

A tiny bathroom with very limited floor space in which there is only a toilet (and in some cases a sink). The name derives from it being so small and quiet, a suitable place for a monk to meditate.

You: hey bro, can I use your bathroom?

Friend: yeah it’s just that door under the stairs.
You: oh come on man not the monk chamber! I can barely even sit in there.

there are 0 cats in the room. there are 3 cats in the room. The phrase "there is 1 cat in the room" is an example of plural's counterpart, singular.

Two halves are better than one, even though two halves is equal to one. While one half is singular, two halves is plural.
And we wouldn't say "two halves are plural".
Yet, two halves are one, is fine.
