Ass-in-the-Face

A state of poverty, or social rejection/lack of status stemming from a poor or financially disadvantaged background.

Woogie

The acting of moving, sliding or nudging an object that is too heavy to lift, such as a heavy piece of furniture.

(I heard this word first used in this way by Jennifer Fastwolf.)

"(Grunting)...now let's see if we can woogie it over to the corner.....

brah

Verbal abbreviation of 'brother'; generally used to address a male friend or acquaintence. Most likely derived from the "pidgin English" spoken by descendents of African slaves brought to the Carribean islands between 1492 and 1885.

"Hey, brah! Where y'at?"
