Shait means shit. It's pronounced like Thai but with an S instead of a T and with a T at the end.

Person A: Wauw you can really see my freckles! Holy Shaaaiiiit!

Person B: Uhm... don't you mean shit?

Person A: same shit different toilet!

Person B: wait... so it means the same thing?
