Quin

Verb. The act of demotivating someone through the excessive use of motivational techniques and language. Often, the “quinner” may subconsciously realise what is happening and respond in kind by increasing the “quinning”. Associated with wall stencils, Yankee Candles, quote of the day desktop calendars and nursery stories about caterpillars, ducklings and talking horses that completely ignore the brutality of nature.
