Name given to the baggy music 'scene' in Manchester during the late 80s-early 90s. Included bands such as Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses, The Charlatans, Northside. Occasionally some cockney twats like Flowered Up are included under this term. But they shouldn't.

Drug addled idiot. Rose to prominence during the late 1980s-early 1990s as part of the 'Madchester' band, Happy Mondays. Wielded maraccas with the best of them.

Slang term for cigarette, popular in areas including but not restricted to Wigan. Has also been to known to refer to joints or spliffs amongst less-well-informed members of society, such as cockneys.
"You got a spare biff?"
"There is no such thing as a spare biff."
Bunch of scallies who made a few million quid then pissed it up the wall. Revolutionised indie, rock and dance music in the process. Also introduced ecstasy to the north of England.
"That DJ was a cunt"
"I know, he didn't even have any Happy Mondays"
