A piece of email that isn't spam, but isn't a genuine email either. Bacn is most likely to come to your inbox as a message from a service or website you are a member of.

-Dude, I just got an email saying that Jenny messaged me on Facebook!
-That's alright, it's just bacn.

-50% of all items at Megamart. That's a bacn email.
