The appropriate name for what many people still call Guns N' Roses. Once a great band, everyone good left. Now there are a bunch of GN'R wannabes playing for a new age band.

Person A: "Nice, Chinese Democracy finally came out!"

Person B: "Give it up, The Axl Rose Project just ain't what it used to be."
