A mixed term from the words âneekâ and âgeekâ. Commonly used by unfunny and unoriginal teenagers to mock social outcasts because they are actually clever and have more than 4 brain cells. Usually it is said as a light joke, but when extra emphasis and anticipation is added it can actually be very hurtful.
