Verb, transitive, Usage: 'to trump something'

Base Meanings: Cause something to fail, collapse, or do worse than ever before seen through total inaction, useless actions, or negative actions. Best used to describe exceedingly amazing examples of inaction or malfeasance that lead to "bigly," world-record failures or destruction.

"I've bigly trumped the economy by ignoring COVID. Aren't I great? I'm a stable geneeus. Howzabout giving me that No-bell prize?"
"The world had never before been so trumped so completely as happened between the years 2016 and 2020."
"The people's confidence in politicians was trumped."
