Twilight

Twilight. Let's see, despite how much bashing this book is getting, it really is a wonderful and addicting novel. It's a love story between a vampire and a human girl. Edward Cullen and Isabella Swan.

Isabella (Bella) is the new girl in the small-town, Forks. Edward is the vampire--posing as a human--she falls in love with. Bella is Edward's 'sweet thing' so to say. Her blood, of all people, would taste the most exquisite to Edward. However, he fights his lust for her blood because he falls in love with her. Why her of all people, it's hard to say. Maybe because she truly is different? He can't read her mind, she's oblivious to his attempts. I actually believe that their relationship does have chemistry. It's in the way that they can relate, and she knows he'll be there for her, and in the same way, she's there for him. They're sarcastic with each other, but ever so adorable.

The point of the story is how can a human-vampire mixed with a few werewolves relationship work? Will it work? Will the love last? Not to mention all the struggles they go through before it's decided to make her an immortal vampire because they want to spend their 'infallible love together' forever, and that she's being threatened. So to speak, the Volturi want her to be a vampire. At least, Aro does. "Yaaaaaaay Bella! Let's make you a vampire! Now!".

All in all, this book is not your average vampire book. With the garlic, burn in the sun, batty nonsense. It's about good vampires, in a realistic point of view. Haven't you ever thought someone to be so beautiful, it's not possible for them to be human? Hello Mistah Vampire. (:

"Eternity will never be enough, and eternity we'll spend our infallible love." -The Spill Canvas
