A person who, through their actions, rises to a level of public derision whereby they move from being labeled "a goose" to being lauded as "the cream of geese".

A: Did you see what Jeremy did yesterday?

B: Was he being a goose again?

A: Way beyond that: this time he's become the cream of geese!
