Owaiiz

An Owaiiz, also called Owaeez or Owa'iz, is a type of pond or lake that occurs on the Virginia Peninsula in the forests which Ethnic Qarsherskiyan people hunt and fish in. The Owaiiz dry up and then refill with water as they're shallow and don't have rivers or significant water sources that feed them other then rain. They usually have the Northernmost wild populations of Native Spanish Moss, Dwarf Palmetto/Sabal minor, and Southern Live Oak growing around the edges of them.

The northernmost Sabal minor, or dwarf Palmetto Palms, grow by some of the Owaiiz in the woods between Newport News and Yorktown.

Moo Latte

Moo Latte is a highly offensive term used as a derogatory slur against the Ethnic Qarsherskiyan Tribe. This comes from the usage of the word "Mulatto" as a slur against Qarsherskiyan people. Before 1991, people commonly called Qarsherskiyan people Mulattos which was an attempt to downplay the historical significance and cultural heritage of Qarsherskiyans, and make it seem like these were a new people who didn't have a history, as Mulatto implies being the descendant of a biracial couple, but Qarsherskiyans are a triracial isolate group that's existed for centuries.

Moo Latte is a term coined by neo-nazis and White supremacists and racist Black Americans to refer to Qarsherskiyan people, and originates from the term "Mulatto" which was also used as a slur against Qarsherskiyan people.

"Why did you call me a Moo Latte? That's not funny!"

Mulatto

1.) A term which may or may not be offensive to or accepted by a mixed race person, often the product of an interracial marriage.

2.) Mulatto can also be a degrading and offensive term used against the Ethnic Qarsherskiyan Tribe, considered a slur and used to delegitimize the unique history and cultural heritage of the Qarsherskiyan people.

Part of the Ethnic Qarsherskiyan Cultural Genocide was the erasure of identity. In the early 20th century, the state of Virginia passed the so-called "Racial Integrity Act" and forcibly sterilized Qarsherskiyan people, who were referred to as Mulattos at the time, and destroyed documents listing non-White people's race, listing everyone from Black to Indigenous to Qarsherskiyan people as "colored" and giving them second class citizen treatment. Mulatto can be a highly offensive word because of this history.
