The white ring of crusty residue that accumulates on and around the sphincter of a sea turtle, resembling a dried layer of Elmer's Glue. This may be more pronounced in some than in others and may also appear on other species of animals.
On rare occasion this may also be found on the oral openings of some animals that have been in contact with an infected anus. See: Human Centipede.
