To ask someone for their phone number. But just like a sport’s jersey, you get their name and number.

Joe: “You look so good I just had to come ask if I can have your jersey?”

Jane: “What? I’m not wearing a jersey...”

Joe: “Nah, i mean your name and number. You know like a jersey.”

Jane: “ Ooh lol. That’s cute, okay. And I’m Jane by the way.”
